I like that they last longer. But I can get two if these other ones for the price of one of those. Amyway we took a five minute water break at where we play we came back and my friends gun had caught fire. I don't want that to happen. The chances of this happening are slim but I really have no need for a lipo.

Going to use an m130 I have laying around in this gun. What upgrades do you recommend? I want to make this as reliable as possible.

I wouldn't recommend using the M130. If you can, pick up a 110 or a 120, as both of those have worked great in my 249 builds.

Here are a few upgrades I've put in my 249:

Modify Full-Teeth Polycarb Piston (the purple one)
Steel Bearings
New shims
M120 spring
20amp Microswitch

Also, have some money laying around for a new hop-up unit, as 249's tend to roll buckings quite a bit that may require replacement over time.

I may just cut some coils off of my m130 as I don't have a m120 or less. I'm going to through one of my spare super cores in there.


Forgive my ignorance but what is the purpose and function of the switch?
